The route starts from Kastelli and climbs intensively up the northwest ridge of Mt Parasevasti and then follows the north ridge to the summit. Bare, arid, rocky landscape and spectacular views towards Arginontas Bay and the northern part of the island. The route then heads east along the Milianos ridge and descends the western ridge and steep ravines to the west. Reaching the main road, the course follows it going along the coast towards the settlement of Masouri.
